Infants
We consider infants as a separate category within our target group of 0 to 17 year olds. For maximum effectiveness, it is always advisable to begin with paediatric (children’s) physiotherapy, where required, at as young an age as possible, because the motoric development of children is most pronounced at a younger age. For this reason, we prioritise baby’s at the practice. Examples of indicators requiring physiotherapy would be, amongst others; deformation of the skull due to preferences in how a child carries itself or slow motoric development,
Toddlers and pre-school children
Children in this category also have fast motoric development, resulting in an increased effectiveness in treatment. Examples of indicators requiring physiotherapy are, amongst others: slow (gross and fine) motoric development, neurological/orthopaedic problems, asymmetric development.
Schoolchildren up to 18 year olds
Examples of indicators requiring physiotherapy are, amongst others: slow (gross and fine) motoric development, writing difficulties, (sports) injuries, hypermobility.
At the practice we specialise in the following disciplines.
-Senso-motoric development
-Sensory integration

-PCM (measuring the shape of the skull for deformities)
-Pulmonary issues (asthma, Cystic Fibrosis)
